Northern Beaches Earthmoving

Northern Beaches Earthmoving has been owned & operated for 22 years by Jim Brigden, who set up his own business after previously working in the industry for 5 years. Starting with a Skid Steer Loader and truck, he has since added three different sized excavators, a track mounted dumper and various specialised attachments.

Being the owner of the company and also the operator gives Jim the ability to provide a higher level of service compared to many other excavation companies, as with Northern Beaches Earthmoving you have a single point of contact from the initial estimate or quote, right through to the completion of the project.

Sophie, Jim’s daughter, is a talented machine operator who also works for the business. She has operated excavators since she could walk and has been working part time for the company since she was 13. She recently had the opportunity to join the company as a full-time excavator operator after graduating from high school last year.

Northern Beaches Earthmoving is experienced in all types of excavation, and specialises in residential jobs including driveways, all types of rock excavation, excavation for spa’s and pools, detailed footings, house site preparation, retaining walls, rubbish and fill removal. No job is too big, or too small.
