Although Northern Beaches Earthmoving specialises in smaller residential projects, we also have experience in larger excavation projects.
Our 8 Tonne Excavator has a 1.5m wide mud bucket, 1.5m shaker/sifting bucket, rock saw attachment, rock grabs, hammer/rock breaker and 1200mm, 600mm, 450mm and 300mm digging buckets. The PD12 Auger used on the 8 Tonne machine has a drive unit designed for a 12 Tonne Excavator. It has extensions to enable a drilling depth of 7 metres. Auger diameter sizes for this machine are 300mm, 600mm and 900mm.
The 8 Tonne excavator can be used for residential sites for new house excavation. This excavator can also load a truck and dog (which carries 25 cubic metres or 30 tonne) in approximately 10 minutes.
Northern Beaches Earthmoving did both the bulk excavation and the detailed excavation for the new Gymnasium for Pittwater House Secondary School, Collaroy. The amount of excavation was over 3000 cubic metres.
